Desertica is a desert-driving academy built by marshals who spent years watching capable people learn the hard way — stuck, overheated, or worse, on a Friday afternoon with no plan.
So we built the opposite of a one-off “desert experience”: a real curriculum. Twenty structured modules that take a complete beginner from their first tyre-pressure drop all the way to a certified Master of Dunes — navigation, night driving, recovery and all.
Every module is taught on the sand, signed off by a certified instructor, and recorded on a driving profile that stays with you. It’s the difference between having driven in the desert once and actually knowing how to.
Who’s behind Desertica
Desertica is owned and operated by a European group of drivers and investors who fell for the dunes and decided to do desert education properly. Not absentee owners — a hands-on team that runs the academy day to day.
We pair European training discipline and engineering rigour with the UAE’s deep desert heritage, and we invest in the things that matter: certified marshals, small group sizes, and a technology platform built to make every drive count.
